The Parish Council serves the villages/wards of Belbroughton and Fairfield in North East Worcestershire with 8 and 6 councillors respectively. The villages, although now largely rural, were once the centre for Scythe making in the case of Belbroughton and nail making in the case of Fairfield. The Green Belbroughton: The Agreement with the Developer of the adjacent land, (the former jewellery factory) has been completed and in accordance with his permissions held from the District Council the Developer is expected to progress the project very shortly by taking down trees on the boundary.
